This is an authentic, 1st Edition, 1830 Book of Mormon replica. It has been enlarged from its original size of 5.5 x 8.5 and 572 pages to 6.14 x 9.21 and 620 pages, to make for easier reading.
All original errors are there for the interested reader to compare and find.
Of the different Book of Mormon replicas on the market, this copy may be considered the cleanest available. A painstaking effort was made to clean the pages of ink smears, blotches, and fading. Because this was manually done, not all imperfections have been corrected. The reader will still feel they are reading a book that is over 175 years old.
One of the notable differences between this 1st Edition Book of Mormon and other newer editions is the lack of any versification. Readers describe their experience of reading this edition as altogether different compared to reading a versified Book of Mormon.

EARLY REVELATIONS PERTAINING TO THE BOOK OF MORMON
It can be said that if one were to believe in The Book of Mormon, they should be willing to believe in the early revelations pertaining to it. Long before Joseph ever conceived of starting a church, and before he finished transcribing The Book, he received two very important revelations pertaining to The Book of Mormon. They detail the purpose of The Book, and declare Jesus' church was already on earth.
Not all editions contained this Table of References.
It provides insight of the grasp the compiler had of The Book of Mormon at such an early time. A person can get a quick overview of The Book of Mormon by reading the References alone.
A sample entry reads like this: "Doctrine of Christ spoken of. 118" References are identified by page number.
A CROSS REFERENCE CHART
Most modern Books of Mormon contain a versification system made by Orson Pratt in 1879. If you happen upon a book that is referencing a particular chapter and verse in The Book of Mormon you will be hard pressed to find it without a Cross Reference Chart.
